Give Back with Shug-Dogg

At Shug-Dogg Productions, community is at the heart of everything we do. Through our Give Back efforts, we create opportunities at select events for our guests to support people in need through simple, meaningful donations that make a real impact.

This season, we are collecting new socks and travel-size hygiene items to help spread warmth, comfort, and dignity across Santa Cruz County.

What to Bring

We invite you to bring any of the following new, unused items:

Top Priority Items

  • New socks (all sizes)

  • Travel-size deodorant

  • Travel-size toothpaste

  • New toothbrushes

  • Travel-size body wipes or baby wipes

  • Lip balm

Women’s Essentials (Also Greatly Needed)

  • Pads and panty liners

  • New underwear (all sizes, especially M–XL)

  • Travel-size shampoo and conditioner

  • Hair ties or scrunchies

Please keep items travel-size and sealed. No opened products, full-size liquids, razors, perfume, makeup, or medication.

Where Do Donations Go?

We plan to donate all collected items to Housing Matters in Santa Cruz, a local organization supporting people experiencing homelessness with shelter, services, and essential resources.

How to Participate

  • Bring one or more approved items to the event

  • Look for the clearly marked Giving Opportunity donation area

  • Drop off your donation and enjoy the event!

Giving is always welcomed and appreciated, but never required. Thank you for being part of a community that shows up with heart.

Every pair of socks, every hygiene item, every small act of kindness truly matters. We are so grateful to our community for showing up for one another, on and off the dance floor.
